Join the Phoenix Chapter of the Western Pension and Benefits Council for an in-person educational and networking event when we welcome Karen Smith of Nova 401(k) Associates to discuss Cash Balance plans.

For profitable owner-operated businesses, cash balance plans may provide a large federal (and sometimes) state tax deduction.   As we get close to the fourth quarter of 2024, it is the perfect time to review cash balance plans so that we can include it in year-end tax planning.  At this luncheon, Karen Smith will discuss cash balance plans basics.  Then to further illustrate the sizzling tax saving potential of cash balance plans, she will discuss some common missed opportunities.  Lastly, to make sure that your cash balance plans don’t become a hot mess, she will discuss current cash balance plan "gotchas" and concerns.
