The Trump administration’s immigration executive orders, and the ongoing debate about the interpretation and enforceability of those orders and the already immigration laws and regulations have impacted employers across the country.
Rebecca will discuss the latest immigration developments that employers need to know about, including hiring foreign nationals who graduate from U.S. colleges, retaining foreign nationals, travel bans, and the latest in worksite enforcement issues.
Rebecca Winterscheidt
Rebecca Winterscheidt has been practicing employment law and immigration law since 1983. She heads the firm’s immigration practice and is the co-chair of the firm’s labor and employment practice group. In the immigration area, she handles both worksite enforcement matters and also processes immigrant and nonimmigrant work and family visas. Rebecca has been recognized in the Best Lawyers in American for both Immigration Law and Employment law every year since 2006.
