Looking at data privacy and cyber security with a focus on Employee Benefit issues, this presentation will include an update on emerging cyber threats, the evolving data privacy and security regulatory landscape, and tips for better data protection practices.   

Pat Fowler

Pat Fowler is a partner at Snell & Wilmer.  His practice is focused on helping clients dealing with complex issues related to data privacy and security, internet/e-commerce claims and e-discovery issues as well as complex or high-stakes product liability, technology and business claims.  Pat is the chair of Snell & Wilmer’s Privacy, Data Protection and Cyber Security practice area, as well as a senior member of the Product Liability practice. He also leads the Firm's e-discovery and information governance committee. 

 

Pat is currently a board member of the State Bar Section of Technology and e-Commerce, as well as a member of the executive committee for the State Bar of Arizona Standing Committee on Technology. Pat is also a Judge Pro Tempore with the Maricopa County Superior Court.
